King of the Mountain

King of the Mountain is a beautiful canvas on stretcher and was painted by artist Pauline Fine. It is a study of a local Protea bush growing on a Nature Reserve just behind their in Glencairn - Simonstown, South Africa. It is painted in Oils but she used an acrylic underbase impasto for the flower leaves which gives the texture.
