About Zambezi

The name "Zambezi Designz" was chosen to reflect the variety of art and artists who contribute to what you see on our website.  The name "Zambezi" is taken from the mighty Zambezi river which flows through many of the southern african countries.  

Zambezi Designz travels back to South Africa and Zimbabwe often where we meet local artists whose work we buy.  Zambezi Designz work on a fair trade system, each artist is paid well for their piece(s) and then 10% of all profit is put back into both Zimbabwean and South African communities alike.
