Custom Orders

All the pieces at Zambezi Designz are custom made by South African and Zimbabwean artists.  What we have in stock is only a sampling of what they make and what they can make.  If you see something on Zambezi Designz that you would like but would prefer it in a different color or size or even if you don't see anything you like but have an idea of what you would like custom made please feel free to contact us so we can discuss your custom order to your specifications.

 

How does the order process work?

 

If it is a piece that is already made by a certain artist and you want to change a simply feature such as bead color then we will work with that artist for you. 

 

If it is a unique piece you would like created then you will need to have pictures of the piece that we can provide to the artists to enable them to be as accurate as possible in their interpretation.  Each artist has a unique style so you can either approach us to contact a specific artist or if you are not sure Zambezi Designz will contact the various artists for you to get a quote.  Once we have different quotes we will then contact you and allow you to choose which artist you would like to make your piece for you. 

 

How does payment work?

 

Zambezi Designz will come back to you with a quoted price.  If you would like to go ahead and order the piece you will be asked to pay half of the quoted price.  Once the piece arrives (we like to work on an average month turnaround depending on postage) you will be sent images of your piece.  If you love it (which we are sure you will) you will then be asked to pay the remaining cost and your item will be shipped to you.  If you do not like it then you will be given a full refund in the form of credit with Zambezi Designz for the amount you have already paid only.
